The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B by Teresa Toten is nominated for a Young Reader’s Choice Award this year. Young man attempting to deal with his own issues while also falling for a young woman.
The Night Gardener by Jonathan Auxier. It won the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award this year. Two Irish youngsters go to work in a creepy and mysterious old mansion.
