Apologies and Explanations

sorry-cute-little-kittyI (Tania) decided to get the flu, have my hard drive crash and get my wallet stolen all in the same month. This fiasco has caused plenty of ironic laughter and a devastating delay in the recording of the Write Reads podcast.

The plan:
We will release our Flagged Victor discussion on Monday, Dec 9 (when we should have released our Robert Sawyer discussion).
We will then ask you to read TWO books in the month of December and then we will have our first Comparative Podcast (2 books enter, 1 book leaves). Actually, it won’t really be a battle, it will be more of a comparison of how Speculative Fiction might be treated differently, or not, when written for kids or adults. We’ll be covering a Robert J. Sawyer book AND one of Cory Doctorow’s books for teens (Little Brother, For the Win or Pirate Cinema). Please remember to vote for one of Sawyer’s books on this post (check out the Sawyer post here), or on facebook and also to vote for one of the above listed Doctorow books!
Thank you for your understanding and thanks for listening!
